At approximately 10:30 AM you will meet your guide in the Tangol Tours Travel Agency Office, located in the heart of San Telmo, from there we'll head to the San Pedro Telmo Antiques Fair, which has filled the Plaza Dorrego on every Sunday since 1970. More than 270 stalls offer wares from furniture and artefacts to traditional Argentine crafts, clothing, and leather goods, drawing 10,000 visitors to visit from all around the world.

Next, pay a visit to the Mercado de San Telmo, where you can shop for souvenirs and see unique vendors and stores. From there, head to the southwest part of the city for a visit to one of its least-known, but most important fairs: the Mataderos Fair, which has become a traditional weekend tour for those who want to connect with Argentina's countryside traditions.

With over 300 stalls selling traditional “gaucho” crafts—mats, ponchos, blankets, leather goods, and silver—and regional foods such as Argentina's famous empanadas, the market gives you a taste of one of these wonderful meals in between its arts festivals and gaucho skill shows.
