And I will also guide you through a kimchi wine pairing, delicious and the best of two worlds. As a former wine bar owner and sommelier, you will experience years of flavour profile matching at the hands of an expert in my intimate cooking venue.

What you can expect

Learn about kimchi and discover which wines pair best with this Korean staple.
Start with tasting. You will learn about 4 different kinds of kimchi; cabbage, white kimchi, radish, and aged kimchi. You will be educated by your host, a former wine bar owner and sommelier.

And then cooking part. You will decide which dish you prefer to make out of three options: kimchi pancake, white kimchi noodles, or radish-bacon stir-fried rice. Dishes can vary slightly due to the number of participants.

There will be your host's speciality dish: aged kimchi with braised pork belly, which will be pre-made by the host, as it can be difficult for beginners and take long time to cook.

Finally, share all dishes made by participants, enjoy the aged kimchi and braised pork belly, and enjoy a glass of wine pairings selected personally by your sommelier.
