Participants will get hands on guidance from an experienced fly fishing guide. We provide waders, boots, rods, reels, and flies. The guide will assist with all aspects of the trip including fishing site selection, casting basics, and landing and releasing the fish. Participants will follow the guide from Gatlinburg into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. While many trips will head for the clear waters of the Little River in Elkmont, the actual destination will depend on the participants' fishing goals (type of trout, desire for more or less hiking to the fishing location) and current water conditions. Meeting and fishing locations are customised based on your lodging location and current weather conditions. Your guide will call you before the trip to discuss gear sizing and a meeting location. You must provide a phone number when you register.
