What you can expect

Start at 10.45 AM and 12.30 PM (weekdays)

Focused on sustainability, Bali is home to some of the world’s most forward-thinking buildings and Green Village is one of the island’s most famous. A majestic bamboo house, Green Village Bali is a master-planned compound perched on the edge of a river valley. Operating sustainably, Green Village is home to 13 houses that are a true feast for the eyes.

We are greeted with a welcome drink as we start in the communal dining area. Enjoy time on your own to explore the on-site bamboo forest and permaculture garden. We then join our guide inside the compound’s two biggest houses for a 1-hour tour. The highlight is the showcasing of how black and white bamboo can be combined to create a stunning collection of luxurious floors, walls, ceilings, stairs and railings. Even the roofs are an innovative arrangement of bamboo shingles!

Before you leave the grounds, you are presented with a bamboo bracelet as a departure gift to remind
