Island & Sea Caves Tour
Having only 1 hour at your disposal, the “Island & Sea Caves Tour” is just what we recommend; after embarking, we head to the grand harbour.
This is embraced by our beautiful island of Ortigia which you will surely have already visited on foot so we pass under the Umbertino bridge, which will leave you speechless, and begin to circumnavigate the island.
You will begin to see the majesty of the Grand Harbour, which is one of the largest natural harbours in the Mediterranean, we will pass by the Foro Italico where you will admire the very luxurious Yachts and above you will see a part of the facade of the cathedral the Duomo; immediately afterwards we will see from the sea the Arethusa fountain with its charm and the immense Maniace Castle that shows us the exit of the harbour.
Going out into the open sea, we will continue to see the beautiful face of Ortigia as seen from the sea, with its colourful facades, majestic churches and protective walls…
After leaving the island, we head to the north coast of Syracuse we approach the caves where we immediately start with a beautiful 10-minute swimming stop.
After freshening up a bit, we start to enter the various caves: the Cave of the Capuchins, the Cave of the Coral, and finally the Big Cave, also called the Cave of Stalactites. Indeed, fascinating limestone shapes have formed inside over time, which we will reveal to you only when you are on board…
As per tradition we will stop in front of the cave of love: the heart-shaped cave, where you can take souvenir photos with your heart behind you.
After this wonderful excursion we will return to the dock where we will thank you for choosing us … If you enjoyed our excursion, always leave a review on the various portals as it is your words that make us so strong and competitive.
Thank you
