After pickup from your location, we will head towards Surami, where we’ll make our first stop. This is a perfect opportunity to relax and taste a local Georgian speciality — Nazuqi, one of Georgia’s most popular traditional sweet breads.

Our next stop will be the stunning Timotesubani Monastery, dating back to the 12th–13th centuries and famous for its unique architecture and remarkable frescoes.

We will then continue to the peaceful Green Monastery, a beautiful 9th-century church surrounded by lush forest and nature.

Next, we’ll visit Khertvisi Fortress, one of the oldest fortresses in Georgia. Enjoy a short but impressive stop with fantastic views while discovering the rich history of this remarkable medieval fortress.

Finally, we’ll explore legendary Vardzia — Georgia’s most famous rock-cut monastery city. Discover its incredible caves, hidden tunnels, ancient churches, and fascinating history connected to Georgia’s Golden Age.

We’ll have lunch near Vardzia, with the exact timing depending on your preference — either before or after exploring the site.

After Vardzia, we’ll begin our scenic journey back to Kutaisi through some of Georgia’s most beautiful landscapes. After approximately two hours of driving, we’ll stop in Borjomi to make the journey more comfortable and enjoyable.

Here, you’ll experience the charm of Borjomi at night — a peaceful and atmospheric setting surrounded by nature. Take some time to relax, taste the famous Borjomi mineral water directly from its natural spring, and recharge before continuing our journey.

After this refreshing break, we’ll continue our drive back to Kutaisi, ending an unforgettable day filled with history, nature, culture, and authentic Georgian experiences.
