Activity itinerary

Zion Canyon Visitor Center (Pass by)

The Visitor Centre is a great place to get information about the park, as well as souvenir shopping at the Zion Forever store. We will use the bathrooms here before getting onto the Shuttle Bus.

Zion Shuttle

Our Shuttle Ride from the Visitor Centre (Stop 1) and The Temple of Sinawava (Stop 9) will take approximately 30 minutes, each direction. Guides do not interpret the canyon from the Shuttle, but passengers will enjoy the scenic views of Zion Canyon.

Temple of Sinawava Trail

The Temple of Sinawava is the name of a large ampitheater carved by the North Fork of the Virgin River in Zion Canyon. This is the start of the Riverside Walk, and the only bathroom near The Narrows.

Riverside Walk

The Riverside Walk is the paved trail that leads to the beginning of The Narrows. This path is 1.1 miles long, and offers many curious insights into the formation and life of Zion National park. We will also use this trail to return to the shuttle stop at the Temple of Sinawava.

The Narrows is the Iconic water based hike in Zion National Park. For this portion of our hike, we will spend 50% of our time crossing the meandering river as it cuts deeper into Zion.
