A three and a half hour drive from the nearest town, in the middle of the Grand Erg Oriental and in the heart of a protected natural park, there is a fascinating site: Tembaïne.

The Tembaïne mountain rises in an ocean of dunes that stretch as far as the eye can see. All around, there is only silence and the immensity of the desert.
