You’ll travel from Bucharest to Curtea de Arges and stop to visit the Curtea de Arges Monastery . We will continue north to the city centre area of Sibiu and Sighidoara city and spend the night in the medieval city of Sighisoara .
On the second day after breakfast we will visit the city centre area of Brasov city and the castles.
Visit Peles Castle, once the summer residence of Romanian kings, and now home to one of the country’s most important museums. The Castle dates from the late 19th century, and has 160 opulently decorated rooms. It is the final resting place for several Romanian monarchs, including King Carol I, who died here in 1914, as well as King Ferdinand and Queen Maria.
Visit medieval Bran Castle, popularly known as Dracula’s Castle. Bran Castle was built in the mid-14th century on a rock standing 60 metres high. It features 4 towers with walls made of stone blocks, and its rooms and narrow corridors form a mysterious labyrinth of ghostly nooks and secret chambers. In the inner courtyard there are artesian wells, connected to an underground network.
