What you can expect

Trace the settlement history of Newport and visit the city's most enduring colonial sites. Beginning from the pre-colonial era, this tour will outline the diversity of people that have called Newport home for the past 400 years. The tour will begin inside of the Museum of Newport History which is housed inside of Newport's historic Brick Market building. From there, the tour will move through time as you walk through the Historical District. You'll visit the Great Friends Meeting House, the Touro Synagog, City Hall, Wanton-Lyman-Hazard House among others.
