What you can expect

  • The full-day experience offers a flexible itinerary tailored to each traveler’s interests, centred around the historic city of Kyoto. In consultation with the guide, guests can freely choose the places they wish to visit during the day: from iconic sites such as Fushimi Inari, Arashiyama, and Gion to lesser-known gems like Uji, Kifune, or Ohara.

    An example of a typical itinerary for the Kyoto Full Day Tour:

    • Meeting the Travel Storyteller in the hotel lobby at 9:00
    • Visit to the Golden Pavilion (Kinkaku-ji) and its surroundings
    • Visit to Ryoan-ji and its Zen garden
    • Lunch at leisure.
    • In the afternoon, travel to Arashiyama and visit the bamboo forest and surrounding area.
    • Return to the hotel at 17:00 with the Travel Storyteller.
