What you can expect

  • Discover the authentic side of Sannio Beneventano through a family that has made wine and the land its vocation, and let yourself be guided on an immersive food and wine experience in Castelvenere, the village where the vine is the undisputed star of the landscape.

    You will be welcomed by Nicola and Andrea, father and son, an oenologist and agronomist and a sommelier respectively, who are ready to guide you on a route through native grape varieties, rural culture and organic viticulture. The tour starts at the charming Educational Vineyard, a cultural heritage site and living museum of biodiversity, with over 20 varieties of native grapes grown there.

    You will then move on to the glulam wine cellar, where you will learn about the techniques used to produce organic wines with no added sulfites, combining innovation with respect for tradition.

    The experience continues at the family-run agriturismo with a local menu prepared by Donna Lorenza, served in the dining room dominated by an old family wine press dating back to 1595.
