Don't speak English?? No worries; we have a free audioguide 9 languages that you can use. Data required and headphones not provided.

    An Authentic Open-Air Experience
Escape the crowded mass-tourism boats. We welcome a maximum of 24 guests aboard our comfortable, 100% electric open boat. Feel the fresh air, connect with the city's vibrant atmosphere, and take clear photos without the glare of dirty glass windows as we cruise past iconic landmarks like the Skinny Bridge, the Dancing Houses, and the oldest church in Amsterdam.

    Live Local Storytelling
Your captain isn’t just a driver; they are a passionate local host. Expect a mix of fascinating history, hidden gems, and typical Amsterdam humour that brings the city to life in a way no guidebook can. Expect warmth and great conversations with fellow travellers.

    Dutch Snacks & Drinks
Make your cruise even more special with our onboard bar. Choose the All-Inclusive option for a carefree experience with unlimited beer, wine, soft drinks, and typical Dutch treats (like cheese, mini sausages, and stroopwafels). If you book the standard ticket, drinks and snacks are still available for purchase during the tour.

    Committed to Sustainability
We care about our city's future. Captain Jack Amsterdam operates fully silent, electric boats for an emission-free cruise. While practicalities on the water require us to use plastic cups, we ensure all waste is strictly separated and recycled. To further offset our environmental footprint, we proudly support tree-planting projects through Trees for All.

    A Relaxed, Cultural Vibe
This cruise is designed for travellers who want to enjoy a high-quality, cosy historical tour with a relaxed local atmosphere. To maintain this welcoming vibe for all our guests, please note that this is a cultural history tour. Large bachelor/bachelorette groups or heavy drinking parties are not permitted.

Friendly reminder: To ensure you join the right tour, please only board if your captain is wearing our signature pink shirt. We look forward to welcoming you on board!

    • Museumbrug 1, 1017 RW Amsterdam, Netherlands | "With the sun behind you": In Amsterdam schijnt de zon helaas niet altijd, en bij een avondvaart (of een bewolkte dag) is deze instructie onbruikbaar en verwarrend voor gasten. We kunnen beter zeggen: "Stand with your back to the museum, facing the water". "We do NOT depart from Stromma!": Net als bij het eerdere voorbeeld met de roze shirts, klinkt dit een beetje als mopperen. Het is heel goed dat je ze waarschuwt (want Stromma is daar natuurlijk enorm prominent aanwezig), maar we kunnen dat veel servicegerichter verwoorden.
