What you can expect

  • Start your journey with a visit to the tranquil Bama Beach, where crystal-clear waters meet lush mangrove ecosystems. Enjoy a peaceful coastal view and keep an eye out for monkeys and various bird species along the boardwalk.

Next, head to the Bekol Savannah, the highlight of the tour. As you ride across the open plains in a rugged 4x4 jeep, you’ll witness herds of Javanese wild bulls (banteng), deer, peacocks, and possibly even monitor lizards or civets in their natural habitat.

Enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Baluran, the dormant volcano that dominates the park’s landscape. Its presence adds dramatic beauty to your jeep ride, especially during sunrise or sunset hours.

With over 444 species of flora and 26 species of mammals, the park is a haven for nature lovers. Your experienced local guide will help you spot rare birds, monkeys, and other endemic creatures during the journey.
