Know before you book

  • Passenger details are required at the time of booking, including: Each passenger’s first name and surname, date of birth, lead passengers phone number, arrival and departure point and flight number details.
  • Please advise dietary requirements at time of booking. As we travel to remote areas, options are limited once the tour begins. Advance notice is essential to ensure we can cater to your needs.
  • A moderate to high fitness level is required for walks of 2–11 km over rocky terrain, often in heat and direct sun. Walks are at the guide’s discretion for safety. Guests over 70 must provide a doctor’s certificate at least 30 days before travel.
  • Children aged 8–17 must be accompanied by an adult. This tour is not suitable for infants or children under 8 due to safety and physical requirements.
  • This tour is not suitable for mobility-impaired travellers, including those using wheelchairs, walkers, prams, or strollers.

Day 1: Alice Springs to Uluru
Begin your journey from Alice Springs, with scenic stops at Mt Connor and Curtin Springs before arriving at Uluru. Visit the Cultural Centre to gain insight into the Anangu people's traditions. Then, take a guided walk at the base, viewing sacred waterholes like Mutitjulu and ancient rock art. End the day with a magical Uluru sunset and dinner under the desert sky.

Day 2: Uluru – Kata Tjuta – Kings Canyon
Wake early to witness sunrise over Uluru before heading to Kata Tjuta for a hike through the Valley of the Winds or Walpa Gorge. After lunch, travel to Kings Canyon and soak up another outback sunset before gathering around the fire for a hearty dinner.
