Embarking on a journey to the Simala Shrine is not just about reaching a destination; it is about the entire experience, from the scenic drive to the spiritual significance of the pilgrimage. The journey itself becomes a memorable part of the visit, offering opportunities for reflection. The Simala Shrine is a popular tourist attraction and a sacred place of worship for many Catholics in the Philippines. The architectural design is breathtaking, featuring gothic-style towers, intricate carvings, beautiful stained-glass windows, and a peaceful ambiance surrounded by lush greenery. As visitors enter the shrine, they are greeted by the sight of hundreds of candles lit by devotees as a symbol of their faith. The interior is equally stunning, with ornate decorations, a peaceful atmosphere, and various religious activities available for participation.
