What you can expect

Step into the storey that captured hearts around the world as you explore some of the most iconic filming locations from the hit Outlander series.

Your journey begins with a visit to Doune Castle, better known to fans as Castle Leoch, the seat of Clan MacKenzie. Wander the grand courtyard and ancient walls as you picture Highland life in the 18th century. Next, you’ll head to the charming village of Culross, the real-life Cranesmuir. Its cobbled lanes and historic buildings are instantly recognisable, don’t miss Claire’s herb garden tucked behind a traditional cottage.

In Falkland, you’ll step straight into 1940s Inverness. Soak up the atmosphere as you explore the village square and see the Bruce Fountain, where Jamie’s ghost made his haunting appearance. After a relaxed lunch, it’s time for a pilgrimage to Midhope Castle, the much-loved Lallybroch. While the inside is off-limits, the exterior alone is enough to transport you into the world of Jamie and Claire.

Last but not least, we’ll visit the mighty Blackness Castle, a striking stronghold on the shores of the Firth of Forth that starred as Fort William. Take in the sweeping views before heading back to Glasgow in time for dinner with a camera full of memories and stories to tell.
