The Arouca Walkways are a wooden walkway approximately 8.5 km long and were built along the cliffs of the Garganta do Paiva. The suspension bridge is the second longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the world, measuring 516 metres long and suspended by steel cables at a height of 175 metres, it is a Tibetan-style bridge that is located under the beautiful Aguieiras waterfall.
These attractions are located within the Arouca Geopark, which is recognised by UNESCO and has been internationally awarded several times.
