Overview

  • Explore Karlštejn Castle and Pilsen on an 8-hour day trip from Prague with a local English-speaking guide. Choose a small-group tour for up to 8 guests or a private trip just for your party.

Walk uphill through Karlštejn village to the castle exteriors, courtyards and viewpoints. In Pilsen, enjoy a photo stop at the Pilsner Urquell Brewery grounds, a guided Old Town walk around Republic Square and the exterior of St. Bartholomew's Cathedral, plus free time for lunch at your own expense.

Castle interiors and guided brewery tours are optional, cost extra and require advance arrangement, subject to tickets, opening hours and the day's schedule. Small-group tours follow a set programme and require at least 4 participants to depart. Private tours offer more flexibility by prior agreement.

Small-group pickup is within central Prague; private pickup is anywhere in Prague. Expect about 3 km of walking, cobblestones, stairs and a 20-minute uphill walk to the castle.
