Uncover the charm of Kuching, a peaceful riverside city where diverse cultures have coexisted for generations. This walking tour invites you to explore its rich heritage, scenic beauty, and colonial past.

Start at the colourful “Kuching Word Sign,” a perfect photo spot with sweeping views of the Sarawak River. Then, hop on a traditional Malay sampan boat and drift across the water, observing the contrast between modern buildings and traditional riverside villages.

Walk in the footsteps of the Brooke family—the White Rajahs of Sarawak—as you admire colonial-era architecture that still graces the city. Cross the graceful Darul Hana Bridge, inspired by the hornbill, and visit the striking India Mosque. Stroll along Gambier Street, known for its aromatic spices and vibrant market life.

Enjoy a delicious local lunch at a nearby hawker centre before exploring Old Bazaar Street, home to some of Kuching’s last heritage shophouses. End your journey at the Chinese Heritage Museum, where you can reflect on the city’s multicultural legacy at your own pace.
