While heading down to Carmo convent and church you will pass by San Roque Church and admire its austere façade, the gilding, and tiles, arriving to Carmo convent you will see the Top of “Elevador de Santa Justa” and admire the Views of Baixa and the Tagus River,
On the Walk to Cais do Sodré you will pass by “A Brasileira”, one of three unique Places in Lisbon which went through the XX century, first built in 1905,
Once you arrive at Cais do Sodré you will explore the TimeOut Market and make the walk beside the river until Terreiro do Paço, which was the old Cais das Colunas where, from the Tagus, heads of state and other prominent figures from all over society, particularly international figures, disembarked and were received, as was the case with Queen Elizabeth II of England.
You will see Lisbon Cathedral and will cross the most famous street in Lisbon, Rua Augusta, it is the main artery of city centre Lisbon and emerged after the reconstruction of this region, which was destroyed with the 1755 earthquake.
