What you can expect

We follow a gentle downhill path and a quiet rural road from Delphi to the edge of the village of Chrisso. In antiquity, the city of Crissa welcomed pilgrims on their way to consult the oracle.
Walking in the footsteps of those ancient travellers, we continue our journey into the heart of the renowned Crisaean olive grove, a UNESCO-listed landscape unlike any other, home to more than 1.5 million olive trees. Along the way, we take in the breathtaking scenery, watching the silver-green foliage shift its hues with the changing light, and admiring the naturally sculpted trunks of majestic, centuries-old trees.
Beneath the shade of a small historic chapel, we pause to enjoy a delicious olive snack and discover how olives are cultivated, as well as why the olive tree has long been a universal symbol of immortality, wisdom, and abundance.
This hike is an invitation to slow down, feel the passage of time, and reconnect with the quiet wisdom of nature.
