Classes are held in English with support for German, French and Thai. In the days before class we contact guests to find out about any food allergies, diet restrictions and any favourite dishes and then we create a menu tailored to that group.
We offer a free pickup in nearby Fishermans Village or can arrange transport from other locations to the school at cost.
Classes start at 5pm with a welcome drink, a briefing and a tour of the extensive organic gardens to collect some ingredients.
We cook usually
- a soup or salad
- a curry made from scratch
- a noodle or stir fry dish
We set the menu latest on the morning of class after having heard from all guests on their restrictions and favourite dishes. All guests cook essentially the same dishes with ingredient substitutions where needed.
The curry is the centrepiece of the evening and guests will grind the spices needed for their curry paste with gorgeous views in front of them.
A short break follows the preparation while Jungle Kitchen staff prepare the charcoal stoves for use then the cooking begins.
Finally guests enjoy dinner of their own creations in the gardens before we finish around 9pm.
