We will meet at the appointed time in the main square of Trujillo and from there we will go to the archaeological site of the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon. It is a set of remains of these huacas in this complex we will observe the reflection of the Moche culture.
We will continue our tour with a visit to the Huaca del Arco Iris, also known as Huaca del Dragon. In this archaeological site we will explain the beliefs and traditions of the Chimu culture. We will also make a stop in front of the steels and murals found at the site and perform an interpretation on their figures carved in adobe.
The next stop is Huanchaco, a charming fishing village where we will observe Caballitos de Totora. In this village you will have free time for lunch.
After lunch, we will visit the ancient citadel of Chan Chan built by the Chimúes. Known for being the largest adobe citadel in America and a World Heritage Site, on our tour of this architectural jewel, we will visit the walls of Nik An, ceremonial squares, walled gardens and ancient cemeteries.
At the end of the tour in Chan Chan, we will return to the main square of Trujillo. We will arrive there at 18:00 hrs.
