What you can expect

During the experience, you will get to know the cocoa bean inside and out, and you will take part in the traditional roasting of the beans. Through aromas, textures, and flavours, you will learn to identify the different stages of cocoa, from the raw bean to caramelised cocoa. You will sample cocoa in various forms: as beans, as a hot drink in a cup, as an artisanal Baileys-style liqueur, and as a natural face mask.

One of the most special moments is making your own chocolate bar, from grinding the cocoa beans to the final mould. All of this takes place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, perfect for all ages.

The workshop lasts approximately 50 to 60 minutes and takes place at Casa Jocolate, where you can also purchase homemade organic cocoa products. An immersive experience that engages all your senses and connects you with the essence of the Sierra Nevada.
