What you can expect

  • Step back in time and discover Florence from a completely different perspective on this traditional boat trip down the Arno River. Float under the historic Ponte Vecchio bridge like a traveller from the past in the seat of an authentic barchetto, Florence's answer to a Venetian gondola.

Gently hop aboard one of these floating crafts, 1 of the 4 original barchetto types, and explore Florence from the Arno River. Relax and enjoy the views as your knowledgeable guide propels the boat over the shallow river bottom with a long wooden oar.

Escape the city's crowds and noise, but not its majestic beauty or historic monuments on this leisurely and unforgettable boat tour of Florence.

You will pass in front of the Uffizi gallery, the beautiful caretaker of many artistic historical treasures, pass under the unique Pontevecchio bridge and you will find out more about the mysterious Vasari Corridor. You will also have the chance to discover the Santa Trinita Bridge and the amazing Palazzo Corsini.
You will then enjoy a refreshing glass of cool wine, to celebrate on board your romantic stay in Florence!
