Meet your guide in late morning at Copenhagen Central Station and travel approximately 40 minutes to Frederiksborg Castle. Enjoy the wonderful surroundings of the castle lake, as well as the path up to the palace itself, before entering one of the most important art collections of Renaissance-period Denmark.

It had humble roots and started as a little hunting mansion under Frederik II in the late 1500s. After a huge fire, it was resurrected and housed the most important art collection of the world’s oldest monarchy at the start of the 1900s. This timeless castle impresses with its beautiful layout and artwork.
