We begin the tour at the place where Bilbao first took shape, tracing the city’s earliest steps and origins. As you explore its historic beginnings and authentic streets, your guide reveals how Bilbao evolved from a small trading port through the rise of the iron industry into the Basque Country’s cultural and economic heart. This e-bike tour is the perfect introduction for a city trip to Bilbao to learn about the city’s character, history and identity.

From there, we move forward through time. We cycle along the well-known Nervion River, which has divided Bilbao for years. You’ll pass by the iconic Zubizuri Bridge designed by Santiago Calatrava, admire the striking curves of the Guggenheim Museum, and explore the green open spaces that transformed the city into one of Europe’s most liveable urban areas.

Our route also takes you past the impressive San Mamés football stadium, our modern cathedral for Athletic Club fans, as well as the fascinating Maritime Museum, where you’ll learn about Bilbao’s industrial past and its deep connection to shipbuilding and the Nervión River.

Every guide on our team adds their own personality, stories, and insider knowledge, making no two tours the same. Whether they share local traditions, architectural insights, or personal experiences of growing up in Bilbao, they make each ride feel like a memorable and authentic journey with a local friend.
