What you can expect
Discover the breathtaking beauty of the Gulf of Orosei on an unforgettable full-day cruise aboard the Imperatrice motor vessel.
Choose the departure point that is most convenient for you: La Caletta Harbour or Orosei.
The excursion begins from La Caletta Harbour, where the Imperatrice departs at 9:00 AM (boarding starts at 8:20 AM). After approximately one hour of navigation, the boat makes a short technical stop in Orosei to board additional passengers before continuing the cruise at approximately 10:15 AM.
The itinerary includes two beach stops at some of the Gulf's most beautiful locations:
- Cala Sisine, a stunning beach nestled between towering cliffs and Mediterranean vegetation.
- Cala Mariolu, renowned for its turquoise waters, distinctive white pebbles, and exceptional snorkelling opportunities.
Each beach stop lasts approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on navigation times and operational conditions.
During the stop at Cala Mariolu, you may choose to visit the spectacular Grotta del Fico (Fig Cave), one of Sardinia's most important karst cave systems. Entrance tickets can be purchased either onboard or directly at the cave entrance. Guests visiting the cave will spend less time on Cala Mariolu Beach.
Due to the size of the vessel and the shallow waters near the shore, this tour does not stop at Cala Luna Beach. Instead, the itinerary is carefully designed to allow you to enjoy the other extraordinary highlights of the Gulf of Orosei.
The Imperatrice docks directly on the beach or at dedicated pontoons where available, making boarding and disembarking easy and convenient.
Designed for comfort, the Imperatrice offers:
- Three spacious decks, including a large sun deck.
- Comfortable indoor lounges with seating.
- Snack bar and café.
- Bathrooms onboard.
During the cruise, you can purchase sandwiches, focaccia, salads, ice cream, snacks, hot drinks, and cold drinks from the onboard snack bar (subject to availability).
Beach umbrellas and snorkelling masks with an integrated action camera are also available for rent, subject to availability.
