Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga Desert
Your journey begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Fes. Travel through the beautiful Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, a charming town often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its alpine architecture.
Continue to the cedar forest of Azrou, home to wild Barbary monkeys, where you can enjoy nature and take photos. Cross scenic mountain roads, Berber villages, forests, and rocky landscapes before stopping for lunch in Midelt, known for its mineral-rich mountains.
In the afternoon, descend towards the Sahara Desert, passing palm tree oases and panoramic viewpoints. Arrive in Merzouga, where you’ll enjoy traditional mint tea at a kasbah near the dunes of Erg Chebbi.
In the evening, set off on a sunset camel trek across the Sahara dunes, one of the highlights of the tour. Reach your Berber desert camp, enjoy dinner around the campfire, listen to traditional Berber music, and spend the night under a star-filled desert sky.

Day 2: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
After breakfast at the camp, depart towards Ouarzazate via the famous Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, an ancient caravan route lined with impressive mud-brick fortresses.
Stop to explore the spectacular Todra Gorge, where towering canyon walls rise dramatically above a riverbed. Enjoy free time for a short walk and photos, followed by lunch nearby.
Continue through the scenic Dades Valley, passing dramatic rock formations and lush landscapes. Arrive at your hotel in the evening, where you’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.
