What you can expect

  • Stop by Coopertown Everglades Airboat Tours and visit the home of the original airboat tours since 1945.

You can visit Jojo, our 12-foot alligator, and enjoy the guided interpretive area.

Then we will depart on a guided airboat tour with one of our guides. Our tours last 40 to 45 minutes as we head out into the wide-open sawgrass prairies, and you will see why they call this the River of Grass.

Then we will head into a trail through two hardwood hammocks, where we will stop at a few alligator holes and talk about all the different wildlife, flora, and fauna we will see along the way.
