Discover the Ballestas Islands: The Wild Side of Nature

Your adventure begins at our office in Paracas, where you can safely leave your belongings if you prefer to travel light. From there, we will head to the port, where you will meet your bilingual guide, who will accompany you throughout this approximately two-hour experience. Before boarding, you will receive helpful recommendations to make the most of your tour.

Aboard our eco-friendly boat, we will sail through Paracas Bay towards our first attraction: the Paracas Candelabra, a mysterious geoglyph approximately 120 metres long carved into the desert hillside. Its origin remains a mystery, surrounded by different theories and stories that make this stop a fascinating introduction to the tour.

We will then continue to the impressive Ballestas Islands, known as the “Peruvian Galápagos,” where nature takes centre stage. You will have the opportunity to observe sea lions resting on the rocks, Humboldt penguins, and a great variety of seabirds such as guanays, boobies, pelicans, and gulls. During the journey, our guide will share information about the islands’ history, wildlife, and the importance of this ecosystem for Peru’s biodiversity.

At the end of the visit, we will enjoy the return trip to the port surrounded by beautiful coastal landscapes and refreshing sea breeze, offering the perfect opportunity to capture your final photos of this unforgettable experience.
