Our expedition begins in Chania, leading us southward to traverse the expansive orange valley. Amidst the fragrant orchards and farmlands, we'll weave through Varipetros, Agia, Alikianos, and Fournes, each village a reservoir of distinct aromas and cultural nuances.
Elevating to 1000 metres, our journey intensifies along the heart of the White Mountains. Navigating shepherd's paths and untamed terrain, the panoramic views of wild vegetation, grazing livestock, and awe-inspiring landscapes invigorate the senses.
At 1680 metres above sea level, Kallergi Refuge offers an unparalleled overlook of Samaria Gorge and the Libyan Sea, a breathtaking
reward for our off-road adventure.
Resting at Omalos Plateau, a traditional Cretan tavern awaits, indulging our senses with local delicacies and authentic platters, providing a taste of the region's culinary heritage.
Meandering through the historically rich village of Lakkoi, we pause for picturesque snapshots and insights into its cultural tapestry before
concluding our unforgettable journey.
