Opened on 6 September 2021, Odysseo is the first oceanarium in Mauritius, located in the heart of Port Louis, the capital city of Mauritius. Spanning over 5,500 m², our aquarium features 45 tanks containing a total of 2 million litres of water and is home to more than 3,500 aquatic animals.

Odysseo Mauritius is a place of discovery, education, and awareness. Our mission goes beyond inspiring wonder; we aim to spark curiosity, encourage learning, and raise awareness about the importance of protecting our oceans and marine ecosystems.

To celebrate its 5th anniversary, Odysseo welcomes ARCHIPEL | MAURITIA, a unique immersive exhibition imagined by artist Yacine Aït Kaci and developed by Fondation Elyx. Presented for the first time in the Indian Ocean, this extraordinary experience takes visitors on a captivating journey through Mauritius, celebrating its landscapes, culture, stories, and identity through immersive digital art. From oceanarium to imaginarium, Odysseo invites visitors to discover Mauritius from an entirely new perspective. The exhibition is included in the Odysseo entrance ticket.
