Description of the snorkelling trip
We wanted to create a small group activity, fun, close to nature, and accessible to all.

The appointment is set at a beach or on the coast (easy to access) at the EcoleApnée vehicle to collect the equipment: fins, mask, snorkel, anti-UV lycra and an underwater scooter per person.

The activity consists of a snorkelling trio with an underwater scooter with stops to watch octopus, sea urchins, fish, etc.

The snorkelling trip will also have an educational aspect to raise awareness of local wildlife.

Beginners will appreciate the effortless movement and people who are more confident will exploit all the power and maneuverability of the scooters. They can even venture out for a few breath-holds…

Functioning
Our sessions have been designed to reduce waiting times and make the most of your day before or after the activity.
The total duration is two hours:

• 15 and 30 minutes is planned for reception, choosing the equipment and going to the snorkelling divesite.
• between 45 minutes and 1 hour 15 minutes of snorkelling trip (regarding the level of swimmer)
• 15 to 30 minutes to return the equipment and collect your belongings.

The material

• An underwater scooter adapted to your level
• A mask, fins (possibility of removing them for those who want)
• A suit to protect yourself from the cold, the sun and jellyfish. Or a long-sleeved T-shirt + anti-UV pants set from the Barbadiving brand.

Your instructor
Your instructor is a professionnal freediving and scuba diving isntructor. He will show you how the scooters work, ensure your safety and explain the specificities of the local flora and fauna.

Practice locations
No more dive sites where all the boats will be present.
At Ecole Apnée, we will leave from the edge of the coast or a beach for greater ease and take you to virgin areas that are rarely or never exploited by other diving centers (because boats are prohibited).

How is this possible?
Starting from the edge allows us to exploit the entire coastline
Travelling by scooter allows you to cover a longer distance and not be in the same place… as others
