As you ascend towards the summit (450m / 1480ft elevation), prepare for sweeping vistas that could make this the most unforgettable hike of your life. The unique geology of the area, shaped by the forces of nature, creates a stunning backdrop for your trek.

Don’t forget to pack your swimming costume and towel for a refreshing dip in one of Iceland’s nearby natural hot springs.

Your guide, an International Mountain Leader and expert in Iceland’s diverse terrain, will teach you the art of orienteering, giving you the skills to navigate confidently using a compass and altimeter.
