Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai mara

Rift Valley Province

(We offer complimentary airport pick up for all your guests arriving by flight in the morning of Day 1 - pick up time will be at 6am from the airport to the departure point in Nairobi city). You will be picked up from your hotel within the city centre and commence your safari to Maasai Mara Game Reserve with a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. Here, you will have a breathtaking view of the picturesque floor of the Rift Valley. Rift Valley is a geographic stretch extending 6000km across the Middle East and Africa from Jordan to Mozambique. The valley encapsulates tremendous changes in topographic diversity with its scarps and volcanoes, lakes, ancient granitic hills, flat desert landscapes, and coral reefs and islets. The astounding view, as you approach from Nairobi, Kenya is quite unbelievable. You will also spot the Mt Longonot from a distance.

You will be on arrival at the camp, check-in at your camp, and proceed for an afternoon game viewing in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Return back to the camp for a sumptuous buffet dinner ending with a good time for resting at Lenchada Tourist Camp.

After this, you have an option of visiting the nearby Maasai village for a cultural tour at an extra cost of USD 20 Thereafter commence the drive back to Nairobi.
