Experience authentic Finnish sauna culture and ice swimming with a knowledgeable local guide in Helsinki. This guided experience is designed to be safe, respectful, and accessible — whether you are trying ice swimming for the first time or already familiar with cold water immersion.

You’ll begin with an introduction to Finnish sauna traditions, basic sauna etiquette, and what to expect during cold exposure. Your guide explains how Finns traditionally combine sauna heat and cold water in a calm, controlled way, always listening to the body and respecting individual limits.

The ice swimming or cold water immersion itself lasts approximately 1.5–2 hours and is always optional. You may choose how far you want to go, whether that means simply enjoying the sauna, dipping briefly into cold water, or repeating cycles at your own pace. The experience is guided throughout, with clear instructions and continuous attention to safety and comfort.

The total experience lasts around 3–3.5 hours, including preparation, transitions, sauna time, and recovery.

This experience is suitable for beginners and first-timers, with no pressure or performance expectations. The focus is on well-being, cultural understanding, and a genuine Finnish way of enjoying sauna and cold water — calmly, safely, and mindfully.
