What you can expect

  • Discover Fátima, the most iconic destination for religious tourism in Portugal, with a guided tour full of meaning and history.

    Departing from Coimbra, we will head towards Aljustrel and Valinhos, villages where the 3 shepherd children — Lúcia, Francisco, and Jacinta — lived. There, you will experience the rural setting that served as the backdrop to the Marian apparitions of 1917.

    Upon arrival at the Sanctuary of Fatima, we will visit the Chapel of the Apparitions, the spiritual heart of the site. With a bit of luck, you might be able to attend a mass.

    We will continue to the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, with its impressive 65-meter tower, where the bodies of the three seers rest. Finally, we will explore the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity, a modern work of religious architecture.

    After a unique experience of faith and culture, we will return to Coimbra.
