I am an environmental hiking guide. I was born and raised in Positano and know the Lattari Mountains like the back of my hand. If you're up for it, I'd love to take you to one of the most beautiful mountains in the world: MOUNT FAITO (the mountain overlooking the Amalfi Coast and the Sorrento Peninsula).

1) Pick-up at a convenient location between Positano and Sorrento
2) Duration of the drive from Sorrento: about 55 minutes
3) We park the car in Pian del Pero (Monte Faito) at 1,158 metres above sea level.
4) We begin our hike towards Casa del Monaco, where we will smell the scent of centuries-old beech trees and breathe in fresh air with Alpine characteristics.
During the hike, unparalleled views will open up before us, and we'll see the entire coastline from the Path of the Gods.
We will follow a loop trail and reach one of the highest peaks of the Lattari Mountains, the Croce della Conocchia, at 1,387 metres above sea level. For more experienced hikers, we could reach the highest peak, Mount Molare, at 1,444 metres above sea level.
The landscape alternates between seascape and alpine scenery, a rarity among the most beautiful gems in the world for mountain lovers.
During the hike, we'll take breaks with a food tasting of local products and products from my farm that will delight your palate, with a view of one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world.
At the end of our hike, we will head back to the cars, and if you wish, we can stop at one of the restaurants along the road on this spectacular mountain.
