The 12 km Challenge: Hummingbird Circuit

Cross the threshold into the extraordinary! We invite you on an epic 12-km hike that will push your limits and awaken your senses in the heart of the Cocora Valley. Start your odyssey from Salento and enter a world where the native cloud forest holds ancient secrets.

Feel the adrenaline rush as you conquer seven hanging bridges that will take you above the mist, culminating at Finca La Montaña. From this privileged vantage point, take in a 360º view of the canyon and the imposing base of Cerro Morrogacho, a breathtaking landscape. Then, descend to the secret sanctuary: the Acaime Reserve, or “House of Hummingbirds,” where rest comes with a local ritual: aguapanela with cheese, the explorers' snack.

The drop-off is a magical immersion: the Cloud Forest Waterfall and the “El Portón” passage will reveal the world's tallest wax palms, silent guardians of the Andes.
