What you can expect

  • Experience the untouched beauty of the Mediterranean’s eastern coast. Discover cliff-top Roman ruins, swim in a secret turquoise lagoon, and step inside a 5-million-year-old cave.

Our day begins 400 metres above sea level at the foothills of the Taurus Mountains. Founded in the 7th century BC, Syedra is one of the most remarkable archaeological sites in the region. Unlike crowded tourist spots, Syedra offers a peaceful walk through well-preserved Roman theatres and temples, all while providing a 360-degree panoramic view of the Mediterranean.

Next, we head to Iotape, a unique coastal city named after the wife of King Antiochus IV. Its most distinctive feature is its seafront location. You’ll explore harbour remains and Byzantine defensive walls right on the shoreline, feeling the tranquil atmosphere of this lesser-known archaeological treasure.

Take a dip in the crystal-clear waters of Selinus Beach. Located at the foot of the ancient city of Selinus, this untouched stretch of fine sand was once a bustling Roman port. Today, it’s a calm paradise perfect for a meaningful swimming experience far from the city noise.

Prepare to be amazed as we go 400 metres deep into a mountain to discover Yalan Dünya Cave. Estimated to be 5 million years old, this cave is a living organism where natural formations are still developing. Explore the 450-meter-long accessible path filled with massive columns and sparkling stalactites in a constant 28°C climate.

The climax of our tour takes us to the dramatic cliffs of Antiocheia ad Cragum. Built by King Antiochus IV, this city sits on steep slopes overlooking the sea. After exploring the grand baths and churches, we descend to the legendary Delik Deniz (Hole Sea). Here, thousands of years of erosion have created a stunning natural rock arch. You’ll swim in the turquoise waters of King’s Bay, a truly untouched natural wonder.

To recharge, we will enjoy a traditional Turkish lunch at a local restaurant, savouring regional flavours before heading back. We conclude this unforgettable journey filled with historical discoveries and natural beauty around 17:30-18:00.
