What you can expect

  • Begin your adventure with a hike from the village of Al Khatam, along the edges of the canyon called “Balcony Walk,” to the abandoned village of Sab Bani Khamis. Discover what the local lifestyle was like 70 years ago.

    Take a break at a hidden lake before gearing up for the Via Ferrata. Climb the cliffs of Jabal Shams, using a stainless-steel cable fixed to the rock to which you affix a harness with two leashes, reaching all the way up 200m cliffs.

    After the hike, enjoy a simple, authentic homemade lunch made by a local Omani family, served under palm fronds.
