Discover a different side of Panama on an quad bike adventure through the Pacific countryside of San Carlos, where coastal landscapes, rural communities, mountains, rivers, and the beach come together in one experience.
The adventure takes you through a constantly changing landscape. Along the coastal portion of the route, you will pass through areas with beach and golf developments, marinas, tropical vegetation, and unique views of Panama’s Pacific coast. From there, we head towards the mountains, where the scenery changes to rural communities, farms, green hills, and countryside landscapes, with opportunities to enjoy views of the ocean in the distance.
The route combines paved roads and unpaved terrain. Some portions of the experience take place on regular paved roads connecting the different areas, while the mountain section transitions into dirt and unpaved roads. This combination is part of the journey and allows us to connect the coast, countryside, river, and mountain landscapes in a single experience.
During the mountain portion, we will stop at a natural river area selected according to seasonal conditions. Panama’s rivers can change considerably between the dry and rainy seasons, so the exact location may vary. Depending on conditions, you can take a short walk, relax by the river, get your feet wet, or enjoy a refreshing swim.
The beach is another highlight of the experience. Because access and driving conditions along the shoreline are influenced by the Pacific tides, the order of the route may change from day to day. Low tide provides the best conditions for driving along certain sections of the beach, and because tide times vary daily, your guide will adapt the route accordingly.
At the beach, depending on tide and sea conditions, you will have an opportunity to enjoy the coastline, walk along the shore, get your feet in the water, take photos, relax, or swim.
Rather than following one fixed sequence, the experience is adapted to the tides and seasonal conditions, allowing us to choose the most appropriate route for the day while showcasing the different environments of Panama’s Pacific countryside.
