Know before you book

What you can expect

The Gávea Rock is the largest rock close to the seashore in the world. Its name comes from the resemblance to the basket of a mast topsail (gávea in portuguese) that was very traditional in portuguese boats.

Starting with hotel pickup, we take you to Pedra da Gávea for the hiking tour. Follow the tour guide and enjoy the trail.

The hiking is moderate and long, fit for those who are active and enjoy the outdoors. The most critical point is the Carrasqueira, a steep stone that you need to use your hands and feet in order to climb it.
