Join the experienced team from Offshore Adventures for the adventure of a lifetime. This one-and-a-half-hour marine tour starts with a thrilling beach launch into the sea, followed by a scenic boat ride along the coastline to the Cape fur seal colony in the Marine Protected Area of Robberg. There, you will get to snorkel and swim with graceful and curious seals in their natural environment.
Step 1: Meet & Gear Up
Your journey begins at our Central Beach office, where our friendly team will welcome you and prepare you for the water. We provide wetsuits, masks, and snorkels to keep you comfortable throughout your time in the ocean. Flotation devices are available, so you can enjoy your adventure with us regardless of your swimming level - if you can float, you can play!
Step 2: Beach Launch & Coastal Cruise
Following your safety briefing, it's a short walk to the launch site to board one of our custom semi-rigid vessels (Robberg Express or Oceanic Express). Hold on for an exciting surf launch right off the beach, followed by a scenic cruise along the coastline to world-famous Robberg Nature Reserve, home to thousands of Cape fur seals.
Step 3: Swim with Seals
Now the fun really begins: jump into the clear waters for a wild and authentic marine encounter. Cape fur seals are naturally curious and acrobatic—watch them somersault beneath you and swim up to say hello, all completely unscripted. It's an experience you'll never forget and our qualified guides are in the water with you at all times.
Step 4: Return with Free Action Photos
After your ocean swim, enjoy the scenic boat ride back to Central Beach. To make sure you stay fully in the moment, our team takes high-resolution action photos during the trip, which are provided to you completely free of charge.
