Day 1: Djerba – Tataouine – Chenini – Sabria Desert
Departure in the morning from your hotel in Djerba.
You will leave the island via the famous Roman causeway, the ancient road connecting Djerba to the mainland.
First photo stop at the salt lake of Sabkhet Chahbania, an impressive natural landscape typical of southern Tunisia.
Continue to Tataouine, a region known for its Berber heritage and traditional ksour.
Sightseeing:

• Ksar Hadada, an ancient fortified granary famous for being a location in the Star Wars films
Traditional lunch.
In the afternoon, drive to Douz, known as the gateway to the Sahara.
Continue to Sabria, at the gates of the vast desert.
Arrival at the Dunes Insolites desert camp.
Welcome with Saharan tea and check-in to your traditional Bedouin tent.

Departure for Matmata, famous for its troglodyte houses dug into the earth.
Visit to a traditional cave dwelling and discovery of the Berber way of life.
Continue to Toujane, one of the most beautiful Berber villages in southern Tunisia, perched in the Dahar Mountains.
Lunch.
Drop-off back in Djerba in the afternoon.
