Experience Authentic Kendo and Samurai Culture in Osaka Step into a real Japanese dojo in Osaka and practice Kendo, the traditional martial art of the Samurai. This beginner-friendly experience is conducted in English and requires no prior experience, making it ideal for first-time visitors to Japan and culture enthusiasts. Your experience begins with an introduction to Kendo, Samurai culture, and Bushidō. You will then change into authentic Kendo uniforms and protective armour, learn basic Kendo techniques using the Shinai, and enjoy a safe, match-style Kendo session under professional guidance. The dojo is beautifully maintained, displaying authentic Samurai artefacts. You can step into full Samurai gear and capture photos, creating unforgettable memories of your visit. The facility includes air conditioning, heating, showers, and changing rooms, and is conveniently located in central Osaka. In addition to our regular sessions, additional sesisons are available on the following dates: * Mondays in October & November: 17:30–19:30 * Sun, 29 November: 14:00–16:00 * Mon, 28 & Tue, 29 December: 17:30–19:30 The experience programme remains the same as our regular sessions.
