What you can expect

Discover the magnificent Andes Mountains on a guided day trip from Santiago.

Start your tour early in the morning with a convenient transfer directly from your accommodation. Board the air-conditioned van and head towards the Maipo Canyon.

During the journey, admire the wonderful views of this natural landscape filled with high mountains, lakes, and forests. Learn about the region's traditions and listen to folklore tales narrated by your guide.

Not far from there, you will arrive at the El Yeso Dam. This large reservoir was created in 1964 by damming the Yeso River and today serves as one of the main water sources for Santiago.

We will visit the town of San José del Maipo, home to the famous Chocolate House, where you can buy and enjoy delicacies made by this magnificent producer of ice cream and chocolates.

At our private campsite, we'll stop to enjoy a picnic junto das Alpacas with a glass of wine and/or juice and some snacks, enjoying the company of our group members and making new friends.

Afterwards, relax as you begin your journey back to Santiago, where your driver will drop you off directly at your accommodation.
