We will start early in the morning at the Ortigia Market, when the stalls are just opening and the aromas fill the streets. There, we will select the fresh ingredients we will use to prepare our lunch: a Sicilian-style lunch, a Mediterranean version brimming with colour, flavour, and tradition.
You will prepare 3 courses: starters, fresh or dried pasta with a seasonal sauce, and a traditional dessert.
You can also choose gluten- or dairy-free options.
Next, we will head to my home, where you can experience the behind-the-scenes workings of a local Sicilian kitchen, with a beautiful view of the Necropolis of Syracuse.
We will prepare the meal step by step while sharing stories, interesting facts, and secrets of Sicilian cuisine.
